When we awake each morning we may desire to know how the day will unfold. We often are eager to determine if we will succeed in our efforts as we try something new or take on an old challenge.
Some people want to know what is about to unfold even before they start a project. They desire to know the outcome of each situation without having to wait. At first, it may sound rather fun and exciting to know in advance if your upcoming presentation will be a success or you will be effective in starting a new relationship or that your favorite team will win today.
If we knew the outcome of each event, and especially if we succeeded on every occasion, we would grow tired of the challenge. We also would become bored with life in general. Why?
Because the nuance is that the exhilaration, fascination and excitement of not knowing IS what life is all about.
Breathing in the events as they unfold and reacting unrehearsed to the experience is the magnificence of life. The fun and wonder is that you do not know the outcome. The nuance is that life is not about arriving at your destination, rather that the experience IS everything.

Remember, you create the experience for yourself in order to learn and grow. Each experience provides some unique piece of information necessary for you to choose your next step. Approach each day ready to explore each new opportunity and you will find your life much richer for the experience. Strike up a conversation with the person riding with you in the elevator or sitting next to you on the train. When we take these small steps we often come away amazed at the experience. We discover how small the world really is and nothing is a coincidence. Too often we discover that the person sitting next to us provided some valuable piece of information or inspiration to propel us on our journey.
Enjoy the roller coaster of life. We all get bored with the merry-go-round.
