Self doubt and lack of faith in yourself and God causes delays in achieving your goals. Some days you are excited and full of optimism working hard toward your goal. On other days you are filled with worry and have difficulty taking any appreciable action. The variability of your emotions and energy makes any forward movement difficult. The Universe is not able to compile enough of the same energy together to manifest into the physical reality of your desires.
Think about it in terms of building a house. You may be able to lay a solid foundation of block or cement and then you begin to build a frame. Each day you believe in yourself and take action demonstrated by nailing another two-by-four in your house. The two-by-fours attached to the foundation are beginning to define the floor plan. The first few days or weeks you are doing great. Your positive attitude, combined with your hard work and actions continue for a couple of months. Some days you are very productive in taking giant steps toward your goal. You are able to complete more of the frame for your future house.
Then something happens. Your patience begins to wear thin. You feel frustrated and question your strategy, motives and faith. Stress at work or with family causes further doubt. In a spiritual or metaphorical sense, parts of your house’s frame begin to sag or fall. Consequently, you are further from your goal. You may have days when you are filled with mixed emotions. On those days you may continue to build the house, but some of the two-by-fours get attached at wrong angles or in the wrong places. Later, when you are able to regain a more positive attitude, you have to re-do the work. Retracing your steps, having to do the work twice, creates even more frustration and fear. You now have to exert more energy just to catch up with where you were, which creates the potential for even more negative thoughts and impatience.
The nuance is that this back and forth of positive and negative energy causes a delay in manifestation of your goal. It may prevent the manifestation of the goal altogether. Many of you continue this way throughout your lives. You are constantly building, tearing down, rebuilding.
To achieve your goal, stay patient and consistent. Often there is not set timeline for success and achievement. Some inventions, some creations have taken years longer than their creators ever imagined. The one constant is their belief in achieving their goal. Believe as though you have succeeded. Believe that you already possess that which you seek and your mindset will change. Your thoughts, actions, and beliefs will adapt to the reality of the world you desire.
Happy Holidays – to achieve your goals you must understand the fundamentals, but the key is to master the nuances.
